Will it read my comments and tracked changes?
Comments stay out of the narration. Accept or reject tracked changes before you upload, so the narrator reads the version you mean.
Does it work with Google Docs?
Yes. Choose File → Download → Microsoft Word (.docx) in Google Docs and drop that file here.
I’m an author. Can I proof my draft by ear?
Yes, and authors love it for exactly that. Hearing a draft exposes repeated words and clumsy dialogue faster than rereading it.
Can I download my Word document as an MP3 or M4B?
Yes. Choose Download audiobook and you get one file with chapters, cover and book details, as M4B, MP3, Opus or WAV. English books can be narrated free with Standard voices, and books in every language with Premium voices, from your plan’s Premium hours. The DOCX to MP3 page walks through it.
Does every Word file work?
Any DOCX, DOC or RTF up to 10 MB without a password. Text in floating text boxes can come out of order, so keep the manuscript in the main text.
